ECCMID starts with a series of Educational Workshops organized in cooperation with ESCMID Study Groups and partnering organizations.
When: Saturday morning, 22 April 2017
Cost: Participation is free of charge to ECCMID attendees. No additional registration required.

The Meet-the-Expert Sessions are led by recognized authorities in their fields. After a short presentation the expert will open the session for discussion, which will be driven by active audience participation.
When: Sunday through Tuesday at 07.45am

Renowned experts will share their expertise in their keynote lectures.

These symposia convene renowned speakers from all over the world and cover a wide range of topics in the fields of clinical microbiology, infectious diseases and infection control. A number of symposia are arranged in cooperation with ESCMID Study Groups, while others are jointly organized with partnering societies or organizations. Some of the symposia give an overview over recent developments and research results, while others review the literature or are presented as pro-con debates. Symposia that are arranged by the industry are organized in close cooperation with the ECCMID Programme Committee.
